Corrections & methodology

How we gather data

  • Schedules and buy-ins. From official casino and poker room pages and posted schedules (web pages and PDFs), and from public trackers when a room doesn't publish its own.
  • Cash games. From the stakes, hours and table counts rooms post, shown only where a room has posted them.
  • Results. From public records published by casinos, tournament organizers and poker media, with a link to each source.
  • News. Short summaries in our own words that link to the original story. We don't republish full articles.
  • Reader tips. Corrections and missing games sent to us. We check them against the room or another public source before we change anything.

Sources

Each tournament listing links to the page or document it came from, and its label tells you what kind of source it is: the room's official listing, a public tracker, an organizer's listing or a news report. When a source is a PDF, the link opens the PDF.

How we verify

  • We compare listings with their sources and record the date of the last check where we have one.
  • Event pages, series pages and the calendar show a stamp on each live listing. Room pages show it on their dated and series listings. Verified followed by a date and a source name means we checked the room's or the tour organizer's own official page or document on that date.
  • Per followed by a source name and a date, such as "Per Bravo Poker Live app, Oct 26", means the information comes from a public tracker, an app or another third-party listing rather than the room's or the tour organizer's own page. A tracker label means we checked a public tracker, not the room.
  • If we haven't recorded a check, or the last check is more than 14 days old, the listing says Check with the room instead of a date.
  • Where sources conflict, or a date or detail isn't confirmed, we say so on the listing instead of guessing. A listing marked Unconfirmed: sources conflict has no verified date.

A verified date means we checked the listing against its source on that date. It doesn't mean the room can't change it afterward. Always confirm with the room before you travel or play.

How corrections work

  • Email [email protected] or use the "Report an error" link on a listing or result. Include the page link, what is wrong and, if you can, a link to the room or source.
  • We check the report against the room's official source or another public source, then fix confirmed errors as soon as we verify them and update the date on the listing.
  • For results and player pages, you can ask for a correction or for your name to be removed. We'll ask you to confirm your identity so no one can change or remove another player's record. We review removal requests and, once confirmed, correct or remove the entry as soon as we can. See our Terms.

Independence

We are an independent guide, not affiliated with any casino, poker room or tour. Sponsored placements are labeled and never change listings or results. See Advertise.
